Prep Time: 15 min. ll Bake Time: 30-40 min.
Note: Before making CannaButter, you must first go through the decarb process. Decarboxylation occurs when there is a reaction which separates molecule groups, turning THCA (non-active) into THC (the happy stuff). This is why you must heat the bud at a low temp. Without it, there would be no psychoactive properties. This is true when you smoke, too!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 ounce to 1 or more ounces of shake, popcorn, and/or trimmings
Tools:
- grinder
- parchment or aluminum foil
- spatula or flipper
- baking sheet
- oven set to 220°F
Potency:
- For stronger concentrate, use 1 oz. cannabis to 1 lb. butter
- For weaker concentrate, use 1/2 oz. cannabis to 1 lb. butter
