Note: To elevate this recipe, follow the Decarb Process & then our CannaButter recipe. Once these are complete, you can substitute CannaButter for butter in the recipe below if desired.  

 

Potency:

  • For stronger concentrate, use 1 oz. cannabis to 1 lb. butter 
  • For weaker concentrate, use 1/2 oz. cannabis to 1 lb. butter

Cookie Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1 egg
  • 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup sour cream sugar

 

Cookie Directions:

1. Heat oven to 375°F

2. Combine 1 cup sugar, butter, shortening, extract, & egg on medium speed

3. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, & sour cream

4. On well-floured, cloth covered surface, roll out 1/3 of dough at a time into a 1/4"-thick sheet. Then, cut into desired shapes

5. Cover cookie sheet w/ parchment, place cookies 2" apart

6. Sprinkle with sugar

7. Bake 7-8 minutes, or until no indentation remains when center is touched

8. Place cookies on wire rack to cool

Icing Ingredients:

  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tbsp. milk, or more as needed
  • 1 tbsp. corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract food coloring

Icing Directions

1. Sift confectioners’ sugar

2. Beat in corn syrup, milk, & almond extract until smooth & glossy

3. Divide in bowls & add color

4. Have a decorating party! Put on your favorite tunes & decorate w/ small paint brushes
